Reed - One Year

Bubby, you...

- weigh 25 lbs, 2 ounces 

- wear size 3 diapers

- wear size 12-18 month clothes

- have 6 teeth! They all broke through in the last two weeks!!!

- are walking everywhere and climbing on everything

- love your "sissy" 

- are still nursing but will eat just about anything

- think your Daddy is hilarious and the greatest toy ever

- love playing ball and kicking soccer balls

My sweet Reed,

As I write this, my eyes are filling up with tears. How can you already be a year old? You are such a joy to our lives and make everyone around you laugh with yourninfectious smile and giggles. We love you so much sweet boy and thank God that we get to watch you grow up!

Reed - 11 months

Oh my goodness, my sweet baby, you are eleven months old!

Right now, you...

- weigh 21 lbs, 12 ounces pounds

- wear size 3 diapers

- wear size 12 month clothes

- have two teeth on the bottom, your left insides are just broke through, and you're right incisor is trying to break through. You are going to look a little like a vampire here in a few days!

- are sleeping much better but would rather sleep with mommy!

- are still breast feeding and taking a few mixed formula bottles at day care

- eating just about anything we eat but still love your Lil' Crunchers, ham, hotdogs, cheese, noodles, strawberries and bananas!

- you are desperate to keep up with your big sister and every day you are getting closer to taking your first steps without holding on to someone or something!

- love playing peek-a-boo

- love anything your sister has, blocks, shaking toys, feeding the dogs, and throwing toys for mommy and daddy to pick up!

- have the best belly laughs and think your sister is hilarious! 

- still so so so happy!

My big boy Reed,

  I cannot believe that you are already 11 months old! In four short weeks, you will be a full year old and this will officially have been the fastest year of my entire life! You are literally the happiest baby and smile at everyone! Unfortunately, you are on your fourth year infection and so tubes might be in your near future. Each time we go to the doctor, you smile ear to ear which probably make them think that we are crazy to have brought you and in the first place! You are the best Cudler and will literally nuzzle and as close as you can possibly get to mommy and daddy's next. You are not napping at Amy's, But you are sleeping so much better in the evenings. You still prefer to sleep with mommy, but do a pretty good job once you have been transitioned to your bed. You had your first Easter and slept through most of it. You did enjoy the screeching toys that a friend gave you! You are just the best, little boy, and we cannot wait to see what the future has in store for you!

Reed - 10 months

My big boy, you are ten months old!

Right now, you...

- weigh about 22 pounds

- wear size 3 diapers

- wear size 12 month clothes

- are sleeping much better but sometimes still wake up once or twice at night.

- are still breast feeding and taking a few mixed formula bottles at day care

- eating just about anything we eat but love your Lil' Crunchers, ham, hotdogs, and cheese!

- you crawl very fast, cruise on anything, even Bella, and take steps while holding someone's hands

- love playing peek-a-boo

- love anything your sister has, your walker, blocks and your basketball goal

- have the best belly laughs and think your sister is hilarious! 

- still so so so happy!

My sweet Reed,

  You are so much fun! You are so busy and keep us on our toes at all times! You love the dogs room and trying to get to their food and water bowl to play with. You are becoming more interested in books but just love the snuggle time with mommy and daddy! You love bath time and enjoy splashing and making a mess! I wish that we could freeze time so I can remember each and every little expression and sweetness that you have!

Reed - 9 months

My precious little boy, you are nine months old!

Right now, you...

- weigh about 20 pounds

- wear size 3 diapers

- wear size 9-12 month clothes

- do not sleep very well

- are still breast feeding and taking a few mixed formula bottles at day care

- eating just about anything we eat

- how did your second trip to Colorado, and your first trip to Breckenridge! You love the snow! But you did get altitude sickness…

- you crawl, pull up (on everything!), and take steps while holding someone's hands

- Love your walker and your basketball goal

- think your daddy and your sister are so funny, but need your mommy when you are sad!

- still so so so happy!

Dear my sweet Reed,

  You have been an absolute joy to have in our lives! You are loving and cuddly and enjoy being held and cuddled. You are very very busy and are moving from the minute you get up to when you go to bed. Currently, you love corn and two potatoes and vegetables the most. You are really into the sweets like apples, carrots or puffs. Very opposite of your sister! You still only have two teeth but you slobber like you are trying to get a few more! We are so excited for what the future holds for you little man!

Reed-8 months

Sweet sweet boy, time is flying by for Daddy and I. You are 8 months old!

Right now, you...

- weigh about 19 1/2 pounds

- wear size 3 diapers

- wear size 9 month clothes

- do not sleep at night, still

- are no longer on Prevacid or Zantac, you developed an allergy to them

- are still breast feeding and taking a few mixed formula bottles at day care

- eating just about anything we eat

- spent your first night away from Mommy and Daddy (5 nights, to be exact) while they went to Orlando

- you crawl, pull up (on everything!), and take steps while holding someone's hands

- love the dogs!

- are taking sips of water and LOVE it!

- had your first Christmas!

- still so so so happy!

Dear my sweet Reed,

  You are such a happy and loving baby! You are a cuddly baby who loves to be held and kissed! You think your sister is hysterical and you are dying to do everything she does! She loves you and think you are the very best "toy" anyone could ever ask for! Your smile and giggles will brighten anyone's day and you share it willingly to anyone who makes eye contact with you! We never knew we could have so much love in our lives, but you have exploded our hearts with the love woe have for you and your sister!
