After the Poker Run this past weekend, we were helping clean up and Ledger was patting my tummy and eating a sucker. Kendell told Ledger to kiss Emmy's baby and this is what he did!

Girl!

This week I am five months along and have gained about 2.5 lbs and SEVERAL inches around my tummy (I am at about 36")! Baby Girl Perkins heartbeat is 150 bpm and she weighs about 1 lb 7 oz. Everything showed that she is growing normally and doesn't have any indications of any types of complications.

Sister, Sister...Never knew how much I missed ya!

July 4th weekend was a blast! We got a semi-surprise visit from my oldest sister from Seattle! She brought with her, her beautiful 3 sons; Jonas (4 1/2), Ronan (3), and Brogan (3 months) and her husband, Jeremy. After bragging and bragging about how many pictures I was going to take while they were here, I seemed to have failed and took none. Pathetic, I know. I think I spent more time trying to juggle 4 little boys (Ledger included) and SEVEN dogs in one trailer, not to mention eight adults!

The craziness was slightly overwhelming for all involved but once we settled in, we really enjoyed getting to know our nephews, especially our newest addition, 3 month old Brogan.

The following picture is the closest thing to a family portrait of Brandy and her family. Baby Brogan was back at the trailer with his Auntie Em, but what an awesome picture of the four of them!

The three older boys decided to try out the new tube. Now don't worry, they all had on life jackets, there were parents surrounding them in the water, and Oma was pulling them from a few feet out back to the boat so that they were "tubing". They loved it!

And just to prove Josh and I were actually there...I took this picture and Josh is the one being showered by Ledger. Ledger loves his Uncle Josh and enjoyed having "water fights" with him outside in the baby pool.

We will be going back to see them next weekend and promise to get more pictures of the boys, of the three sisters, a family portrait, and of course my big huge belly!

Four Months and a Crib

I am very behind. But better late than never. Only my family reads my blogs anyway and most of you have seen me anyway!

But you may not have seen our beautiful new crib! I heart Nebraska Furniture Mart.

On a high note, I am half way there. I have felt the baby move and have definitely started to show. I am still squeezing into my normal clothes (I guess that means I wore them pretty baggy) but feel more comfortable in elastic waistbands. I have gained 4 pounds and my waist measures at about 36" (at the widest part of my tummy). We find out next week if our little bean is a little girl or a little boy. Keep your fingers crossed! (For a healthy baby, that is!)
