1 year together!

Our first anniversary...

Everyone says that your first year is the hardest. Josh and I are so thankful because if this was the worst year we'll have, we'll have smooth sailing for the next 50 years!

We did do the traditional eating of the top of the wedding cake. Not so good. Tasted stale...could have been how I "packaged" it. Or didn't.

Wedding Fun

Congrats Blake and Lindsey Iles! Our good friends got hitched this weekend! It was a beautiful ceremony on a gorgeous day! The reception was so much fun and we danced the night away. My feet were KILLING ME!
Josh got to be a part of his good friend, Blake's wedding by being an usher. This is a picture of the exclusive "USHER CLUB" that they formed. They had a blast...

Falcons at State

We did such a great job at the State Tournament. There was some really good competition this year which made it difficult to reach our goal of State Champs. However, we had awesome weather and lots of fans to cheer us on!
We lost our first game to Goddard, the #1 ranked 6A team in Kansas. It was a great game and our boys played hard. Congrats to the team, especially to our seniors!

Little Ledger

Today has been a fantastic day! Little Ledger has really filled out and is looking very handsome! We have gotten to spend some really good quality time with him while we've been here. He has been feeding from his mommy and has been taken off almost all of his external devices...PIC lines, IVs, ventilation hood. The only thing he needs is a heart monitor.

He is getting more of a personality every day and looks different every minute. Each time we go in to see him, he seems to be more alert and aware of people around him. His eyes are almost always open except for when he's eating! We are truly blessed and feel so full of love for this little guy! I am such a proud aunt! I cannot wait to get a picture of all of my nephews together... I will definitely be the aunt with all of the pictures in my wallet! :)

UPDATE: My beautiful nephew Ledger is still in the NICU at Salina Regional Health Center. His oxygen levels, blood pressure, and heart rate have all been improving. Last night, Kendell and Chris were able to hold their beautiful son yesterday which was a true blessing. Please keep us in your prayers and I will be updating pictures as soon as I can!

OS Banquet

Olathe South Banquet
This was Josh's first year as the OS baseball head coach so it was also his first time doing the presenting at the banquet. He did a fantastic job! We didn't get to hand out certificates/letters since its mid-season so we will have another one at the very end of the year.
This is a photo of the seniors with their bats that they received for their last year.
It is also a picture that includes Adam Olerich and Josh...the Varsity coaches!

Pavers Stone... God's punishment to us.

Our goal for the summer is to make our backyard presentable and functional.
Pavers Stones: Much more tedious than its worth...so far.

Best part: dogs playing - NOT IN MUD
